Packaging: Moving beyond plastic.

Unlike our apparel, our packaging is not meant to last. To minimize the longterm effects of everything that protects our garments, shoes and accessories during the journey to our customers, we make a conscious effort to use recycled or recyclable material that leaves as little trace as possible.

Work towards a substantially reduced use of packing materials.

Today, plastic is the most commonly used material for packaging, thanks to its durability and affordability. Unfortunately, it is made from a finite resource - oil - and is often single use only. To minimize our dependence on non-renewable materials, our plastic policy states that all polybags used for shipping and e-commerce should be sourced from recycled low density polyethylene, or LDPE. This type of plastic can be recycled again if handled responsibly after use, which is why our packaging aims to nudge consumers to help the material stay in the loop. The policy concerns all suppliers, who are encouraged to make the switch when old stocks run out.
